Peter was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia, just outside of Washington DC. He attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate degree, earning a Bachelors in Political Philosophy, Policy and Law with honors. Peter obtained his law degree from the Washington and Lee University School of Law on an academic scholarship. During law school, he was an officer of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and served as a research assistant for constitutional scholar Rodney Smolla, the law school’s then-Dean.
The son of a physician and a trauma nurse, Peter grew up in the healthcare industry and has years of experience working in medical offices and, subsequent to earning his B.A., in the Office of the Actuaries, a division of the United States Office of Personnel Management where he negotiated, among other issues, healthcare rates for federal employee plans. Peter utilizes his unique insights from these experiences to explain the medical, scientific, and economic aspects of his clients’ cases.
Having represented insurers in the past, Peter understands the adjusting process and how insurance companies handle, defend and value cases. He uses those insights to achieve the best possible results for his clients. Peter handles wrongful death, negligent security, car accident and trucking, products liability, and all manner of catastrophic personal injury cases for the firm.
Peter has been licensed to practice in the State of Florida since 2012. He lives in Miami and speaks Spanish.
